University of A Coruña

The Department of Letters at the University of A Coruña embraces different areas of knowledge within the philological field. It is composed by the Spanish section (integrated by the areas of Spanish language and Literature), English Studies, Romance Philology, Galician-Portuguese and General Linguistics, and by the areas of French Philology and Literary theory and Comparative Literature. The Department belongs to the Faculty of Philology. In it, students can take courses on linguistics and literature at the bachelor’s, master’s and doctorate levels. The educational personnel and researchers are highly qualified and engaged with the attention to students. It contains some interesting facilities such as a large library, several net rooms, etc.
